Our story begins in the 1970s with Larry Hester and his wife, Jackie, California natives whose dedication to excellence and strong landlord-tenant relationships became a family legacy. Inspired by their parent's commitment to integrity and community, the Hester children, Chad & Christine, joined their parents to found CHester Team in 2026 to continue that tradition for generations to follow.
At CHester, we believe that well-cared-for properties create thriving communities. Every building we manage or develop is guided by our family values—honesty, respect, and responsibility—and designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and purposeful.

Chad Hester
Co-Founder/Managing Partner
Chad brings decades of experience in property ownership, management, and real estate investment. As an active investor, he helps grow and manage the family's portfolio through strategic leasing, acquisitions, and sales while building strong tenant relationships. A top-selling Silicon Valley real estate agent since 1998, Chad is known for his local market expertise, extensive industry network, and commitment to exceptional service. His experience in residential and commercial real estate makes him a trusted advisor to property owners, buyers, and sellers alike.
Christine Janssen
Co-Founder/Managing Partner
Christine has been actively involved in property ownership, management, and real estate investment since 1995. With decades of hands-on experience, she oversees administrative operations, bookkeeping, and tenant relations for the family's investment portfolio.
Dedicated to continuing her family's legacy, Christine is committed to providing service built on honesty, integrity, and respect. She takes pride in fostering strong relationships with tenants ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, transparency, and care.
Scott Janssen
Chief Financial Officer
Scott, CFO, brings 35 years of experience in accounting, finance, and strategic advisory work across both public and private sectors. He specializes in guiding companies through critical stages of growth and development, with a focus on sound financial planning, management, and reporting.
